The SLC Team
Richard Sharp
Richard has always had an innate passion for landscape design and construction, as well as an enduring focus on delivering great outcomes for customers.
As director, Richard works closely with SLC’s designers, construction team, specialised subcontractors, suppliers, and our customers. In managing much of SLC’s internal and external communications, he plays a key role in ensuring projects progress smoothly, and the end result exceeds customer expectations and reflects their vision.
Richard understands the value of collaboration, especially with the customer, and has worked to ingrain this into SLC’s approach and workplace culture. He takes pride in the fact that the majority of SLC’s projects come through client recommendations, reflecting the impact of this approach. As a result, and with the support of his team, he has built Sharp Landscape Creations to be the successful and sought after landscaping business that it is today.
Adam Cawood
As Landscape Construction Manager, Adam’s role is to facilitate and execute the construction of our landscape projects.
Adam is highly experienced in the construction industry, bringing a broad and unique set of skills to the SLC team. He is highly proficient in carpentry, excavation, rock work and all other retaining wall types, water feature construction (Aquascape trained), steel fabrication, and many other areas of landscape construction.
Importantly, his positive working style allows him to build constructive relationships with our customers, and effectively manage the SLC landscaping team and our specialised subcontractors.
Adam brings a natural aptitude for problem-solving, attention to detail, consistency in meeting high standards, and strong customer-focus. All of which make him an invaluable member of the team and its ability to deliver outstanding landscapes for our customers.
Kai Weston
Kai commenced working with Sharp Landscape Creations on a casual basis. Although we weren’t actively seeking an apprentice at the time, Kai quickly demonstrated that he would be an asset to Sharp Landscape Creations and its customers, and was then offered apprenticeship.
Kai just started the third year of his apprenticeship, and has continued to develop his skills at an exponential rate and is a valued team member. His energy, natural hunger to learn and improve, and his consistent diligence and concerted efforts in his work, go beyond what would normally be expected from someone at this early stage of their career, and is well-deserving of his recent nomination for Apprentice of the Year in Landscaping Victoria’s Annual Awards.

We utilise the services of specialised subcontractors. Having worked with them, we have seen that they are skilled in their trade, and know that their standards match our own, both in the customer experience and their service delivery. We ensure that they are appropriately insured, licensed and have the necessary qualifications to do the work required. This includes plumbing, electrical, interior pool tiling, stonemasonry, and other specialised fields.

We are very careful in selecting our landscape product and service suppliers, so that we are always working with the best ones industry wide. Collectively, our suppliers provide a broad variety of options for all elements of landscaping, including everything from, pavers, plants, garden lighting, and so on.
